About Us

Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM) is a non-profit charitable organization that assists those in need. Our mission honors our faith and strengthens our community one family at a time. We do this by helping local individuals, families, and seniors in need. ICM was founded in 1985. A group of concerned Clear Lake and League City churches founded our organization. The church members were concerned about the growing needs of families in the local area. Community and church leaders recognized a need to coordinate their efforts to help a growing population of poor families and those facing sudden financial crises. The goal was to create a central organization that would serve those in need in collaboration. Rather than working independently, the various houses of worship would minimize the overlap in assistance and maximize the effectiveness of the services provided.

About Our Resale Shop

The ICM Resale Shop provides vital services, such as free clothing assistance to low income families. Proceeds support other charitable services of Interfaith Caring Ministries including our Food Pantry & Rent and Utilities Assistance programs.

Where We Serve

We serve those who live in the Texas Bay Area, specifically in Clear Creek and Friendswood ISDs. Our area of coverage spans southern Harris and northern Galveston Counties. Our service area encompasses the following zip codes: 77058, 77059, 77062, 77546, 77565, 77573, and 77586. In addition, we serve residents zoned to CCISD in zip codes 77089 , 77518, 77539, and 77598. During times of regional emergencies, Interfaith Caring Ministries will provide services to other areas as needed.

Receive Assistance

Senior Discount Tuesday

Customers aged 62 and older will receive a 20% discount on their store purchases every Tuesday (fine jewelry and furniture not included).

Donations

Donations of gently used clothing, furniture, appliances, household items, and toys are accepted during our normal donation days and hours (see Donation Hours, below). Please click here for our Item Donation Guidelines.

To schedule a large furniture pickup, please call us. Furniture donation pickups are scheduled for Tuesdays and Saturdays only; no exceptions. All donations made to the ICM Resale Shop are tax-deductible.

ICM Resale Shop appreciates the overwhelming generosity of the people in our surrounding communities. Your donations continue to help our programs grow in reach. ICM can continue to develop new programs and reach more people in need in our community.
