• Mission: Roof above, formerly urban ministry center and men's shelter of charlotte, is an interfaith, nonprofit organization whose mission is to unite the community to end homelessness, one life at a time. we carry out this mission by providing a continuum of services for people experiencing homelessness - from street outreach and basic services, to emergency shelter and permanent supportive housing.
